That's the sort of thing that's always got me in trouble in the past... I have a lot of unconventional opionions / interests... and I'm a very gregarious person, so I find it difficult (almost painful) not to talk about things... and then I end up getting fired over things like being bisexual (this is when I discover the boss is horribly homophobic) and polyamorous or relating things I've read about human sexuality from even as innocuous a location as a Time Life book (Sex and Spirit has a passage about incest which says it's as close as humans have come to a universally accepted/applied taboo, although even at that it's not evenly applied because there have frequently been exceptions, particularly tribal cultures, such as one culture where a boy's first sexual experience is _supposed_ to be with his mother). Apparently the mere fact that I would read something like this is an indication that I'm so horribly deviant that I may as well be infected with some fast-acting and deadly contagion to which other employees can't be exposed.
