I've avoided making this sort of distinction in my own documentation, largely because of the extra work involved... I do tend to capitalize certain vocabulary words -- particularly if they refer to a specific "tool" in an application, i.e. "Plugin Manager" rather than "plugin manager" or more to the point "Available Inventory". I.e. "these units will be displayed in Available Inventory" instead of "these units will be displayed in available inventory.". I'm probably not very good about this because I probably vassilate back and forth on this issue a lot due to being generally partial to an all-lowercase style... sort-of e. e. cummings-esque. :) (note that when I type my name or the name of my company I never use caps - the T in onTap is the exception, which a lot of people don't notice and type it out as Ontap, On Tap or more often OnTap, though that's a programming-style from C/C++/Java methods and JavaScript event-handlers being cammel-cased, i.e. onSubmit, onClick. ) ike s. isaac dealey 954.522.6080 new epoch : isn't it time for a change? add features without fixtures with the onTap open source framework http://www.fusiontap.com http://coldfusion.sys-con.com/author/4806Dealey.htm ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:156505 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
