I'm not aware of any studies which determine the pleasurable effect of sex
in animals. As far as rabbits go however there seems to be two things at
play: 1) Rabbits breed very quickly - they can have litters once a month or
so I believe and 2) we've completely over-exaggerated rabbits sexual
appetite and anthropomorphized it.

So the real question, to me, is do rabbits actually "do it" so much more
than humans?

In most cases however the drive seems multifaceted: pheromones from one sex
trigger a sexual response in the other - there is a clear drive to copulate.
This can be complicated by mate selection (mostly through competition
amongst the males of a species) but the drive in most cases is clearly to
copulate, to procreate.

Very few animals seem to have "recreational sex" of any kind while humans,
it would seem, have _mostly_ recreational sex (especially if you count
masturbation as sex).
