I'm not sure of that. Guiliani has too much baggage for the republican right wing christian fundimentalists - in his last 2 years as mayor of NYC he went through a very messy divorce while living with his now current wife. There are also some accusations of some quite shady deals he was involved in. If this stuff doesn't shoot him down in the primaries, it will certainly hurt his chances quite a lot in the election proper.
