Actually they bankroll more than a few (albeit with partners). For example they bankrolled (along with a german investment group) Bruce Campbell's last two movies. They also bankrolled most of the "Earthsea" (and "Dune" and "Riverworld") mini-series. Generally the movies with the "Sci-Fi Pictures" logo have been at least partially bankrolled. I don't think that Sci-Fi, alone, bankrolls anything however - pretty much everything is a joint production with somebody (that includes "Stargate", "Battlestar Galactica" and "Farscape"). Generally the other company involved is securing European or Australian broadcast rights.
