Interesting side note: up until around 1973 the Nova and the Camaro shared the
same chassis and suspension, performance suspension parts for the Camaro would
bolt right onto the Nova.

I've seen a couple of old Nova's dropped and set up for autocross.

Surprised no one has really mentioned handling yet. 1 billion HP isn't
going to do squat unless the car car handle. I'm a real lover of
musclecars, grew up around 'em, love the look, the sound, the feel, the
great era of brute force steel machines. However, I'd still rather take
any of the WRC cars out for a spin any day. 4WD, huge HP, stiff
suspension, etc. You just couldn't compete in a road race (one with
actual turns, drag strips don't count IMO) with an old Nova, Chevelle,
Challenger, Duster, etc.

I love the old cars - to look at and race at the local drag strip.
