Sorry, by your own words it is NOT occupied as the native residents have 
elementary civil rights. They have their own government with elections, they 
have their own civil administration and they have ownership of land. To be 
honest, there are more rights in Gaza under Israeli control than in most 
other Arab countries.

If the native residents would stop launching missiles into Israeli towns, 
stop sending suicide bombers into Israeli stores and stop teaching their 
children that a good Jew is a dead Jew then maybe they would have more 
rights. As is, the rights that they are lacking is travel and transport. 
They can't get into Israel without going through a security checkpoint which 
stops a LOT of weapons and bombers and they can't ship in stuff without it 
being inspected for weapons.
Those are 2 rights missing where they have all others.
