Try digging out of $130,000 in student loans all because our lovely government didn't consider my wife to be independent until the age of 24 despite supporting herself since age 18; hence NO assistance for college. Now she is in a wonderful profession as a teacher and loving it, only to realize 75% of her paycheck goes to Sallie Mae. Ike, move up here (DC Metro area)...
