But there are two ways to look at the Golden Rule here:

1) Allowing the abortion would cause harm to another person, the unborn
child (under the assumption that the pregnancy is not life-threatening)
(Anti-Abortion Groups)

2) Allowing the abortion does not cause harm because the fetus is not a
person and has no rights. (Pro-Choice Groups)

Indeed, this is still an opinion matter.  Both groups can pass the Golden
Rule measure.

Obviously not because it violates someone else's rights.  That the
key, the Golden Rule.  You are free to have your own opinions and
morals.  To speak out and to take action.  You just can't violate
someone else's rights to do the same.
