Are we talking about me or the whole military? Me, I could kill 'em all. I wish we'd threaten to drop the bomb, then do it if the crap doesn't stop. But back when I joined, I had no idea that I'd even be in harm's way. It seems that you don't know that there are many reasons people join the military, usually the least is because they want to kill people. I joined because of the technical training. Many people do. To lump everybody in the same class due to the job they're doing is ridiculous. I had friends in the military who seriously thought about trying for "Conscientous Objector" status, but then realized that they were never going to see a shot fired in anger and stayed in. Other people never want to see war nor kill another person but would die to protect our country. Chaplains aren't even allowed to carry a weapon, they have a person who's assigned to them just to protect them. So your whole argument is neither thought out or even rational considering the nature of the beast.
