I honestly resent libertarian being grouped far right.

I don't think that the mainstream left<->right arc is large enough to truly
encompass political belief.

To my mind communism and fascism are very very close to each other, however
they are traditionally at opposite ends of the spectrum.  If you were to use
the regular left<->right symbols, I think I would be a centrist.  I am very
fiscally conservative, traditionally a right wing trait, and I am very
socially liberal, traditionally a left wing trait.
