Here's the ridiculous part: the Whitehouse didn't release it to the Press. A private citizen did under her own judgement. Be polite to the owner, fine, but coordinate with her, don't turn over press responsibilities to her. Second, why wait 22 hours to tell the President? According to McClappen it was because "information was trickling in." What? Cheney shot a dude. How much more information do you need? The incident itself is meaningless, but the press avoidance seems indicative of a Whitehouse looking to remove the check the Press provides on government. If you're not straight with the press with a simple issue, what are doing with the big ones? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:197018 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
