I was introverted as a child but have worked toward being extroverted
over the years and am now comfortably extroverted. I didn't like being
introverted actually, so I changed. :) It took a lot of work for me to
be able to talk to people without being afraid of them.

And as I become older I'm finding that I'm vassilating in the
thinking/feeling axis (though ENP remain fixed) ... So although most
of the time I'm ENFP (Idealist > Advocate > Champion) I've given
myself assessments and come back as being ENTP (Rational > Engineer >
Inventor). Neither of these temperaments represent much of the
self-selecting sample of people who used the free online Kiersey
Temperament Sorter (http://keirsey.com/scripts/stats.cgi) and while
the sample is admittedly rather self-selecting I come away from that
knowledge with the feeling that it's not so surprising that my beliefs
have diverged more and more from the mainstream as I've gotten older.
Without wanting to seem conceited, I think I like being "out of touch"
in the same way George Clooney described when he accepted his Academy
Award.
