What's with the allegedly? This is part of the issue that led to the debacle the other night.
No matter how individuals voted, the electoral college gave the election to Bush. The End. He was elected. Let's remember, I voted against the dude. I didn't, and don't, want him as president. My desires in the matter are irrelevant, he was elected, he is legally the president. I'm so tired of the same ol' points, that have been refuted time again. Dana, can you admit that he was elected president by the electoral college? He didn't win the popular election, big deal, most presidents don't. -- Timothy Heald Analyst, Architect, Developer [EMAIL PROTECTED] W: 202-228-8372 C: 703-300-3911 -----Original Message----- From: Dana Tierney [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, April 18, 2006 1:35 AM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: Chavez Blacklists Critics I am not surprised by much any more. But for me the key word is, they *elected* him. If I am supposed to back off GW because he was allegedly elected, why does this not apply to Chavez, hmm? There seems to me a double standard there. >We spend a lot of time on Venezuela because it is a country heading >toward Castro-style socialism, which by the way has done nothing less >than leave Cuba frozen in time.
