does there have to be a lynching before it's a mob mentality? I think people have a right to be left the hell alone. The exception is due process for due cause. If the Border Patrol goes in there, that's another story -- that's what they do and they know how to do it.
What if a bunch of peace activists stormed Halliburton demanding to see the books? Would that be ok?
