I believe this was Shermer's point as well. It's like standing up in front of the targets on a firing range and arguing about who's firing the bullets. The Earth is warming, for whatever reason, and that's going to have drastic and expensive consequences. If there's anything humans can do to slow down or stop the process, we should. Even without direct causal data. The only empirical question at this point should be: given that we've significantly reduced human greenhouse gas emissions, what effect has that had on climate? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:208135 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
