Six months is indeed a long time to wait.

But I'll tell ya' it is extremely satisfying at the other end of the
process. Of course, I haven't had a "bad" batch yet. :-)

I made beer a couple times, in fact, a lot of my winemaking equipment
started out as beer making equipment :-P

I just enjoy wine more than I do beer. And apparently I have a lot of
time on my hands :-\
