The K&N filter by itself (I'm assuming this is it by the description) is
worth 1-2% in horsepower I don't know if the mileage is any better.

If you get the air cleaner kit, which replaces the stock filter compartment
and air tube to the throttle body, you can get about 5-10% in HP, but your
mileage may start to slide.

I was getting 17MPG with my Jeep, which is why I had to get rid of it.

How much did your tuner cost? I just upgraded to a better air filter just to
see if I could push out a couple more MPG, and it's washable so I don't have
to buy another one. I get about 18 - 22 MPG with my JEEP, be nice to get
more than that, it could pay itself off with the change you're talking
about.
