Same process, but sometimes more difficult because it's not as easy to get the cost. With a new car you can get the exact invoice. Either way go to Edmunds.com and click on the "pricing" tab after selecting your make/model. This allows you to find out the national pricing, rebates, incentives, dealer back stock, etc. For example, I just looked up a 2007 Audi A4: 2007 Audi A4 2.0T 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 6M) National Base Price (excludes destination charge) MSRP: $28,240 Invoice: $26,043 So, in this case, you'd want to offer ~$26,600 for the car. I then took a look at used 2005 Audi A4s and found 677 cars anywhere from ~$17k - ~$45k depending on options, engine, etc. So you can use Edmunds.com to compare and bring with you so you know the national pricing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/message.cfm/forumid:5/messageid:211698 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
