If Israel's terms are to cause an enormous swelling of sympathy and
support for Hezbollah, then, yeah, its on those terms.

All bombs do is destroy one of the only democratic Muslim nations out
there, while also enraging Muslims and the Lebanese, establishing
Nasrallah as a glorious leader, and fomenting a whole new wave of
Hezbollah recruits.

This was likely Hezbollah's goal since they have plenty of weapons:
instigate Israel into boiling up a recruiting campaign while at the
same time increasing their stature and smacking down Lebanon so
Hezbollah can rush in and be the saviours against the evil Israelis.
Mission accomplished.

I understand the sentiment, I understand the emotion, I understand the
anger but, come on, Hezbollah is leading the Israelis on a stick and
smacking them in ass at the same time.

And for some stupid reason the Israelis just keep following.
