But the reason to create an embryo using SCNT as opposed to just using
any leftover embryo is so the cells would match the donor and no
rejection.
So I'm guessing it's a loophole. As long as you say you also want to
have a child it's a go.

So a cloned human (SCNT) Blastocyst can be used for research if it is
also used for fertility treatment, but if can't be implanted in a
person.
So technically SCNT can't be used for stem cell research ever. I'm
getting a headache.
