I pray for that day. It will be an awakening for this country. It may even harken back to the days of the Bull Moose Party and result in real political change.
As for me, after 2002 I was so pissed with the Republicans I have only voted for two republican candidates since then. Bobby Jindal and David Vitter. Now I won't even vote for either of them (I left the 1st district after Katrina and Vitter is getting a little too porky for me). But I have not missed a vote since then. I reallized in 2004 that voting is not an American right, but an American DUTY. >See I honestly think that if someone could find a way to motivate the 50% of >Americans that don't vote to actually do so, the two parties we have today >would be in big trouble. > >I just had this discussion with my wife who had said she wasn't going to >vote, because it wouldn't make a difference. > >Thankfully, I was able to convince her otherwise. > >> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:219097 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
