There are a couple of differences. It is the same CCD same resolution. The D100 had a steel frame, so it is a little heavier but more durable.
The D70 doesn't have the grip/battery add-on available, which basically adds a few features that aren't available on the D70. It lets you use two batteries or 6AA batteries to operate the camera. It has a vertical shutter button so you don't have to turn you arm weird to take a portrait picture. It also has a microphone to take voice notes, and remote shutter port. I used the D100 for a couple of years shooting weddings and portraits and it did great work. I now have a D200 and a D2x. I'll send some pics off list. > -----Original Message----- > From: Paul Ihrig [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Sunday, November 12, 2006 11:46 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Re: Digital Camera recommendations > > Nick > how does it compare to the D70? > thats what my wife wants. > she is a photographer/graphic designer. > but her old film camera has died. > > how old is your camera? not sure if it is a good deal compared to new, > warrenty/ > pics would be good. > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:220456 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
