Knock wood, mine has been working like a trooper too. I routinely leave it on all night to download extra content and game demos. Not sure if it helps or not but I bought the extra cooling kit for the back of mine. As for the warranty I figured up front if I was gonna pay $60 for a year of xBox Live, then another $60 for two years extended warranty was worth it.
Jim, did you spend the points on buying the latest Oblivion Mod, Knights of the Nine? 800 points, but it adds a new main quest and a bunch of mini quests.
