Oh yeah. It's a play on the state slogan : Land of Enchantment. The kids complain (like most kids do, most places) that it's impossible to leave. I use it different, now. =-] > As for the Frontier, well, hmm ever been in the John Wayne room at > 4am? I'm not talking about the fights they get up front, just the Oh, about 9-15 years ago or so, that place was a riot. It's still a good spot, don't get me wrong, I'll allways love it. But you don't see the same caliber of freak, now. The west isn't so wild... > general surreality of the place. And isn't Denny's open all night? Not Denny's was the other ultimate spot. I slept at both of them many a time, made horrible, shameful messes at both... drugs- well, pretty much everything from central and 14th to about central and san mateo, I've done strange and wonderous things at/to/on. Repeatedly. Then I got a Lincoln Mark IV, and the whole city was my oyster. > that I recommend the place....apart from that ya well, overnight there > is Dunkin Donuts... not like DC where they have a 24-hour French > restaurant... See, /that's/ what I'm talking about. The Brickyard serves till like 3 or so, which is fucking awesome- expensive, but good. Things are better now... we've always had enough people to warrant more 24hr stuff, but now they actually seem to be increasing in number. Ha! A French restaurant... Oh, you crack me up. Greek/Mexican- no problemo. Heh. A good bit of this is that "things were better back in the day"- I've noticed a pretty decent crowd at Denny's again- perhaps it's cyclic. Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps. I'll have to check out the Fontier at 4am, and muse on it. It /has/ been a spell... Whellp- Back to work. *cough* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Create robust enterprise, web RIAs.
