Coincidence.

>How do you explain the direct correlation between the global
>temperature and the increase in greenhouse gases in the atmosphere?

I still doubt the science here. All of the "experts" I have spoken to on this
clearly have a political agenda as well as a scientific one. It is a sad day
when science and politics mix. That is why I gave up on Geology 12 years ago.

There is nothing clear about it. All of the science I have seen indicate that
the "greenhouse" gas emmissions are offset by biological factors such as algae
blooms, etc.

My personal environmental issue is nitrogen in agricultural run off. If it
keeps up, I won't have potable water in my community.

>Clearly if we were NOT pumping greenhouse gases into the atmosphere
>the temperature of the planet may still fluctuate. But the fact is
>that we ARE pumping greenhouse gases and therefore skewing whatever
>natural fluctuations may exist.
