So what does this say about people who change or even drop thier "sacred" 
values to match those of a populist political figure?  Or those who put 
political expediency over thier "sacred" values?

I know and am related to many like this and 99% are members of the democratic 
party.  The other 1% are members of the socialist party.

I will admit that there are republicans (i.e. Schwarzenager) out there that do 
the same, but I rarely,if ever, see Libertarians pull that move.
