Kinda hard not too, being that's exactly what happened, not to mention
that we abandoned many of the Iraqis we told to rise up.

The fact is, the US doesn't have the military capacity to fight a war
of occupation or the state capacity to nation build.  Our forces are
great at blowing stuff up, especially when you don't need to worry
about accuracy and won't be showing up later to use anything.

For some reason the Bush administration decided that it would ignore
1500 years of history and thought that if we just got rid of Hussein,
everything else would take care of itself.  Oops.
