look at their products(ms), obviously they dont have a care in the world about doing it the best, they would rather be the only.
That just reiterates the point that ms doesnt care about the user experience as long as they forked out the money for the program, whereas Apple tries to do it right even if that means involving other companies. >To me that expresses in a nutshell the strategy of both companies.
