This is a really complicated issue for me. I don't think a wall will work. I think we have the electronic surveillance capability to monitor the borders. We need to beef up the border patrols, almost like a rapid response para-military unit, minus the big artillery, and allow them to do their job.
We've got 12 million illegals in the country (although I'll be there's a lot more). Rounding them all up and deporting them is almost logistically impossible, so I really don't know what to do except deport them as you find them... and make sure that you photograph, fingerprint and microchip them on the way out, also make sure that they know that if they come back illegally, the punishment will be severe.
