My big problem, is that there are 12 million illegals in the country, they
use resources (clinics, schools, welfare, etc) intended for tax paying
citizens, without paying into the system. So their getting a free ride.

There are two counties in Virginia, Prince William and Loudon that have
enacted legislation that requires proof of citizenship before being allowed
access to county services, I'm all for this, provided that it's a level
playing field, which means that everyone is held to the same standard.

I don't buy into "oh it's so difficult and expensive to get into the US"
it's not. The system does need to be streamlined, but I've seen no evidence
of any ridiculous fees...

I also don't buy into the notion that the US owes the world something and
should simply throw open it's borders. There's not another country in the
world that has completely open borders, we shouldn't have them either.

I'd like to see some real numbers on that. All I've ever heard so far is
nativist rhetoric about the evil illegal immigrants who are here to murder
us, rape our wimmin and park illegally.
