I went and bought a wii, specifically for the moving situations. I find that
a half hour of wii boxing gets my heart rate up into the 140-150 range very
quickly. I have DDR ordered and plan to get Wii fit when it comes out.

Frankly anything that gets and keeps me moving is a good thing. I've
dropped a little bit of weight and when the weather cools down I hope to do
more outside. I have problems getting myself motivated to go to the gym,
though I have been able to do a bit of that a few times a week.

My eating habits are pretty good, very little processed foods, mostly I buy,
cook and eat around the outsides of the grocery store (meat, dairy and fresh
produce). I am just too sedentary for my own good.

40 pounds to go, but hopeful.

Good luck Adam!

Wow, cool site, and good luck on your diet Adam! I've been there too, lost a
lot in the past, but have gained a little more than 10 pounds back and want
to get rid of it again! I'm a decent cook as well, although I often find
being single I'm not that motivated to cook my better meals just for myself.
Had to laugh at your "bombs" I've had my share of those as any good cook
that likes to experiment can attest as well! I'm so totally with you on the
exercise thing! I really don't like it either, and so I try to find ways to
exercise that don't seem like work. Hiking is something I enjoy, and
actually I do a lot of dog training and sports and it's amazing how much
exercise some of those can involve!

If you want a really awesome site for tracking your progress to your goal,
and that can also track stuff like daily exercise, what you are eating
(calories, fat, protein, etc.) Fitday.com is a free service that's very easy
to use and has everything you need.
