really not the same. if there were a functionally equivalent version of the NAACP... and you're suggesting that it's the KKK... doesn't that suggest the NAACP engages in lynchings, cross burnings, etc?
I don't by any means support the NAACP in its efforts to blindly defend folks like Vick, but I hardly think that you can suggest the KKK is a "white" version of the NAACP.
