That sounds like a reasonable solution. I can appreciate that there
were men back in the day that felt it was wrong to take a life; giving
them the option of being medics is a decent solution. What I don't
understand is that people today, in an all volunteer armed forces,
would sign up and THEN decide to be conscientious objectors.
