Well, I'd say that a caucus is a type of primary. That is, NH chooses to have a non-partisan vote; one vote for one candidate and then add them up. Rather than vote, Iowa chooses to caucus. The Iowa caucus is where members of a party, rather than vote, show up to a room and "caucus" or talk/discuss/debate about the candidates and then at the end go stand in one area of the room that is designated for their chosen candidate. Basically each state party can choose how they'll decide to allocate their delegates to the national party. Iowa chooses caucus, NH chooses a bi-partisan vote. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;160198600;22374440;w Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:250291 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
