1.) Conservation. You can get 50mpg diesels that provide all the power a consumer could want. 2.) Conversion. You can make diesel from many different type of oil including bio-sources like seaweed, but also from my favorite source, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jatropha What this all means is that you could slowly convert from petroleum-based diesel to bio-diesel. One risk, of course, is that now you're growing fuel but, IMO, that's a step above digging for it! And jatropha is a weed that grows in the desert so it could solve world hunger. It's a 2-fer! Further, we wouldn't just need to rely on one plant, we could cultivate many. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;192386516;25150098;k Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:257872 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
