Really so having the SAS kill entire enemy villages, you don't think 
that was helpful?

You can't compare the British and U.S. military, I've served with them, 
they are professional soldiers, but they care much less about civilian 
casualties and will shoot first, they actually protect their soldiers 
from bullshit criminal charges as well.
