The larger point is that, in order to arrive at predictions of catastrophic man-made global warming, proponents must pretend that the natural warming and cooling cycles of the planet do not exist, that, without mankind's influence, the planet's atmosphere will remain exactly the same. That kind of thinking demonstrates either ignorance or intentional disregard of our knowledge of natural planetary climate change.
