(1.) There are no such things as "natural warming and cooling cycles".
Why? Because we have no fucking idea what the factors are that
contribute to weather in the first place. Therefore we have no idea
if there are cycles and, if so, what they are or what causes them.
Seriously dude, stop repeating that ridiculous convoluted hill billy
logic.

(2.) "Global Warming" means that the Earth *may* be getting more
energy from the Sun (energy = warming). It's a classic science term
misused colloquially; like "theory". Point is "global warming" should
really be "maybe more global sun energy". Further, we have no
fucking idea how more Sun energy would affect the planet; we don't
know if it'd throw us into an ice age or nothing or venus. We just
don't know. Global warming DOES NOT EQUAL earth-heats-up. So whoever
wrote that, quit with the hill billy earth-heats-up logic.

(3.) Since we have no fucking idea how climate works, or how changing
factors will affect the climate, that means that "global warming" can
only be treated as a risk. The experts in risk are insurance
companies and actuaries are already costing in global warming into
your home owners insurance. That means it's real - at least to your
wallet.

Conclusion
We need to investigate it as risk and change our behavior accordingly.
 Where's the controversy?
