Not sure why you responded to my post with this...which essentially agrees
with what I was saying....?

We ARE the good guys, but it's not necessarily because we have a bunch of
human beings over here who are altruistic, while people in other countries
are assholes. It more has to do with our system, which has been in place to
protect those original ideals of freedom...and of justice.

It's only when we see this system begin to break down, that we as a nation
begin to lose the high ground on issues of liberty and justice. This is what
GITMO does, and why it is so dangerous...imho.
