Thats the thing here, no one wants to look at quantify and set our enemy, and it's causing a lot of problems.
Saying just AQ is our enemy isn't near enough. Their sunni sub groups and allies are world wide. It goes beyond that even to the pervasive culture of Islamic Extremism taught by wahbist islam, paid for by the Saudis, spread by the Pakistanis, implemented by the Taliban, AQ, Indonesian rebels and more.
