Everyone should already be doing their own off line-backup of ANYTHING that is stored online. Doesn't matter what system or service you use including your own local files.
I have access to two laptops and everything on both of them is mirrored on two separate hard-drives and stored online AND I'm making all clients upload all pertinent files for a project to an online PM application that is then backed-up and stored locally. Sounds like a bit of extra work, sure. But it sure makes for a comfy fuzzy feeling when a laptop dies, or a server dies.
