None taken. I don't think that is is parenting anymore really. I mean, my ex and I (when we were married) had *the talk* with her when she was 13. I assumed that it sunk in. I bought her the movie 13 in the hopes that she would see what a downward spiral drugs and sex at a young age is, but I think that she used that movie as a primer of what to do instead. Fortunately she is not into drugs or drinking, but smoking and sex are still not good in my eyes. The smoking part I take responsibility for as I smoke and have her entire life. The other, I just chalk that up to peer pressure. I intercepted some of her IM's some years ago and that was something that her and her friends were discussing, the fact that they were tired of being virgins. I gathered that there was some sort of click or something of girls who have already had sex. I don't know. All I know is I just want her to get through HS and college AND gets married before she has any kids.
