Avira is pretty impressive, used that at work recently. Might also want to look at Hijack this -- a lot of people make a big deal of saying watch out for that program, but I am assuming that anyone on this list will understand that just because a process is running, does not mean it is evil. Hijack this is a great tool assuming you know how to interpret its results.
