Well, that is somewhat disingenuous.

We did not invade Iraq because we felt bad for the Iraqis.

We invaded them because they supported terrorists, or had wmd, or attacked
our planes in the no-fly zone, or tried to kill Bush Sr, or we wanted the
oil.

No one ever claimed it was because we are nice.
