I might be mistaken, but I think the gist of the question is how connected is McCain to the struggle of your Average Joe to put food on the table. I'm really sorta surprised that Gruss was able to hook so many people... sorta. The SQL question was a good example -- a pity that it was brushed off so easily. My point about Kerry was that his service WAS disrespected, openly (he served, medal tossing or no- but that medal tossing is emotional, I reckon), and I haven't seen that kind of disrespect towards McCain-- it would be crazy, but anyways -- it just seems like people are illustrating, before our eyes, how this stuff goes down. Heh. I wasn't even aware that Gore had served, until after he had done his run. I liked his story, when I heard it later.
