Ahh you know I was only using a literary device when I wrote I quickly learned to pray for the right answers. It was an attempt at humor. Much like your, "Well at least the "blah, blah blah" part is right regarding Creationism.", which I did find funny.

Prayer *will not* render a solution to a mathematical equation. > But on a more serious note, trying to learn how to do long division and > studying creationism vs evolution is a different ball game. > Since evolution is still just a theory, and not a law, why not present > another possible theory. Sure thing, as soon as someone comes up with a viable, scientifically testable alternative theory. And when that theory is presented, et viola, it will appear in science classes. Creationism and its beard Intelligent Design, are not now, nor have they ever been or ever will be scientific theories. Period. Full stop. > I don't advocate doing too deep into creationism > in a science class but it can't hurt to briefly mention, "And there is > another less scientific theory, creationism, that competes with evolution. Less scientific? how about *not* scientific? and FWIW it does not "compete with evolution" as it cannot. > It's the theory that...blah blah blah." Well at least the "blah, blah blah" part is right regarding Creationism. -- will "If my life weren't funny, it would just be true; and that would just be unacceptable." - Carrie Fisher ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:275900 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
