If nothing else there's incredibly good evidence that homosexuality is a natural result of too many male births. Evolutionary a social animal which spends it's time killing each other over too-few available mates isn't likely to be very successful. Homosexuality is perhaps an unusual solution to this, but evolution isn't (despite the common perception) the same as design.
