Umm, without uniforms and ID cards these people do not have rights under the Geneva convention.
They don't even count as an unorganized insurgency because they do not wear readily identifiable markings on their clothes. They are saboteurs and spies and can be executed at any point.. That is under international law. If you wanted to argue the invasion, all you have to do is say that Saddaam's regime didn't meet the terms of his cease fire and surrender. The end. He didn't. BTW, allowing the inspectors full access was part of the cease fire. The U.N. should have backed our play and if they had, and we were able to build the coalition we did the first time around things would have gone very different.
