> If a government run healthcare system said, for example, we'll decided who and when MRIs are used.
I don't know about the US, but in Canada and the UK doctors decide when an MRI is needed. Doctors dictate what care their patients need. You talk about health care like it's a menu at a restaurant. "I'll have an Ultrasound, two MRI's and a side of Cat Scan please." You keep mentioning "choices" etc. What choices? If your doctor thinks you have cancer but needs more tests to prove it he sends you in for those tests. He doesn't present you with a list of choices. In Canada and the UK you simply go and get the tests. Doesn't matter what plan you have or what's in your savings. Why does that seem like a bad thing to you? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:288853 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
